Articles we carry backups for on the boat:
* Dinghy: Thing 1 is the Porta-bote (Muñequita/Alyosha; we’re still in the midst of a naming dispute); Thing 2 is the yellow kayak inflatable (Tigralita).
* VHF Radio: One mounted; one hand-held waterproof jobber (neither have names).
* GPS: One ugly; one cute and preferred.
* Compass: One mounted on the steering column; one hand-bearing compass that is probably inadequate. Another compass might be forthcoming.
* Lime squeezer: One lever-style and one reamer; two very different technologies because damned if I’ll be denied a gimlet when I want one.
