[...] You may remember way back in 2006 we talked about meeting a sloth on the road. Here is the long awaited video. Thanks to Sage for helping me figure out the flash. Let me know if you can’t get it to play. [...]

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! Wouldn't you know there would be a local (national?) ban on selling alcohol because of elections and we had to sneak a bottle of wine from Mom's hotel room.
--Michelle, you are probably the only person on the planet who actually knows and remembers the date of our anniversary.

Don't know if you remember, but Manuel Antonio is where Brad and I spent most of our time in Costa Rica when we went. The park is great. Have you seen the forest crabs?

Quepos is not that interesting, but they do have a couple grocery stores if you need to stock up. You can catch a bus there from the main drag in Manuel Antonio, or the taxi's not that pricey. There is a cool abandonada of an aquatic park at the end of the road that runs along the beach. It's actually walkable from Manuel Antonio to Quepos. I can't remember the distance, but maybe like 4km. It's very pleasant, and there are many places to stop for cold drinks along the way.

If you haven't already, try the Guaro Sour. It's sort of like a caiparinha with sour mix in it.

Happy birthday Cheyenne.

Hi Josh and Cheyenne....Earl and I are following your Costa Rican adventure closely. We are going to be in Costa Rica for 5 weeks beginning February 1. Any chance the two of you and Time Machine will still be there? We would like to see you. Love, Cindy and Earl

Hi guys,

It all sounds so cool! I really wish I was there. Just had to say happy belated birthday (the 3rd, right? no, the 7th? no, no the 9th? Hee Hee) I was up in Tahoe yesterday, so I didn't have a computer at my fingertips. When does your mom get there? She is going to have so much fun. I need to find out if I made plans with Mom and Spu on my January vacation or my February one. I really, really want to meet up with you at some point. How difficult is that to plan? Where would I fly into? Well, that's it for now. Hope your birthday was fabulous, oh, and happy belated anniversary too! I picked up some crab from Dad a couple of weeks ago and thought of you. Talk to you later!
