searunner 40 Jade off Cape Sebastian Oregon

Cape Sebastian, Oregon, 1982

This is an old photo of Jade (Searunner 40 built by my dad — Jeff Coxwell) sailing past Cape Sebastian on her maiden voyage.

  1. What a great photo of your Dad’s boat! Did he sail it up and down the Pacific Northwest coastline? Anyway, thanks for posting it. Looks like a postcard—Peg

  2. I took this picture so many years ago looking out on arch rock from a point near my home. I look back with tears and joy… and excitement — a mixture of adventure and loss. Hard to explain. Whatever became of Jade… and your dad. times have brought so many changes but I still cherish those times.
